Basically, CA Inter is a exam, which tests your pesence of handling pressure. Apart from that if you compare your syllabus its not a volume what we think, its our pressure due to which it looks volume in nature. For preparation of Tax – IPCC, start from the chapter which has more weightage and great chance of coming in the question paper. and always try to complete Income tax first before GST.

During my preparations, I started off with PGBP, Capital Gains, Salaries, HP and then other Sources. Never start with HP or Salary. Then after that jump directly to Chapter VI A, so far you are done with 40 marks out of 60 marks which you need to attempt. Then give some time on small and theoritical Chapters like Return Filing, Advance Tax, Interest u/s 234, Dividend Income which could easily fetch you up with 13–15 marks. Then a chapter known as Residential Status, very easy Chapter and in every attempt a minimum of 5 marks question is asked. Prepare it and then give a quick revision to what you have studied so far and never forget to practice last years questions with a proper exam pattern.

Then start off with GST, it’s easy
